The Dragon Keeper Chronicles

On June 17, (15 days away!) Dragonlight, the fifth book in The Dragon Keeper Chronicles and the last of that series comes out in beautiful paperback.

To celebrate the occasion (I'm nutty, I know) I'm reading the first four before it comes out. YAY!!!

I'm working on DragonSpell now, (I might post reviews of these, who knows) and then I'll begin DragonQuest.

I'll give more details on the books themselves soon....and sorry, it might be a week or two before I can give you book and movie of the month. :D

Keep a look out for DragonLight, available on June 17. If you haven't read the others, I would definitely recommend it. They're different, refreshing, and they're kind of like a 'girl' fantasy. Not many of those as of yet. I'll explain that later.

Paul takes after Lewis and Tolkien, but she doesn't copy them. There's just a faint trace of their influence in her writing; which is rich with moral lessons and wisdom, as well as beautiful landscapes and funny characters and a vivid world; Amara.

More on Dragon Keeper soon!

Thanks, Anna, for showcasing my books. I love your enthusiasm.

I also read your Indy review. I won't see it until it comes out on DVD. But that is never as long as you think it will take. I can't hear in a movie theater, and at home I can read the words at the bottom to be sure I get every delectible line.

Oh, Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for commenting!

Your books are wonderful. I know you must be sick of hearing this, but....

Any advice for an aspiring writer and world-builder? I love Lewis and Tolkien. :) Of course.

The Indiana Jones movie was great. I'm not very critical of movies, I'll admit, but Indy WAS my first hero and crush, so how can I help but like? I'm sorry you'll have to wait, but you are right; it'll be out before you know it.

I think the little dragons are so witching! I wish I could meet some of the characters in person....like Fenworth and Dar and Gymn and Metta...and all the other minors.

I haven't heard of those books, but I'll look them up.

Also, I went to see Indy 4 yesterday, and it was good, even with the weird theme. Still, the alien was really weird.

Hey Brian!

I'll be posting a review probably tomorrow of DragonSpell, the first in the series. Miss Donita weaves together beautiful stories with a wizard. I love how original she is, and how she subtly borrows for mythologies. (If I'm wrong about that, please correct me, Miss Donita. Hope you don't mind me calling you that....)

You would probably like them Brian. I've really enjoyed rereading them. Can't wait to start DragonQuest!

Oh yeah, and Indy 4 WAS weird, but also very good.

Roland Vendale!

Gentry I don't know why you go so formal on the blog. It's ME for pity sakes!

Gentry, I'll send extra copies of the books to Lee so you can have yourself some. BTW, Gentry, WHERE have you been? You never talk to us anymore....Dwalyn misses your antics.

By the Gods the poor girl is talking to herself. Fetch a glass of e-water!

Anna said...

Now Socrates. Don't be so ridiculous. I know exactly who you are, and fyi, I was NOT talking to myself. I have no character named Roland Vendale.

Mikaela said...

Anna. Your going mad. 0_o I'm serious.

Abby said...

YOu guys stop saying Anna is mad.. I am not a character in her book..
Do you know what an insult that is? Prove it to them Anna..
I don't even live close to you.
And I don't think Socrates is alive anymore.

I'm afraid Abbs does have a point, Socrates. You've been dead for a very long time.

Socrates said...

The way I see it death is mearly the seperation of the body and the soul. (Gorgias)

who says souls cant comment?

Anna said...

well for one thing, if you are soul (which you are not, you're Pyro Tech) then you wouldn't be on earth. For another, you would be transparent, which would mean you could not type.

Socrates said...

Who says should cant type, who says souls cant connect to the Internet, and who by Hades said that souls are transparent!

Anna said...

the fact is, Socrates, you are NOT Socrates. We all know this. :D
Sorry Charlie.

Anna said...

I'm only pulling your leg Socrates. Don't get your dander all fluffed, alright? :D

How do you know? Give me some facts! Mabey you can convince me that I am not me.
